Help out in our mission to help the homeless!
Our services rely heavily on the participation of volunteers. Commit to serve your community by assisting in special events, transportation of food, or by working with our partners at local homeless shelters and food pantries.
Volunteers can offer their services in the comfort of their own vehicle with little to no physical demand. To sign up, use the form below to indicate your availability. We will reach out to you regarding any opportunities in advance as they present themselves.
As we continue to push through the COVID-19 pandemic together, we urge our volunteers to be mindful of the pandemic at all times, especially when handling food items that will be consumed. We thank volunteers for following the CDC’s health and safety guidelines.

How Can I Help?
The food reallocation process is very simple. First, collect any leftover food supplies from one of our willing sponsors, and second, drop it off at one of our partnered shelters. Learn more about our food partners here
How to sign up and collect the food
Sign up below in our form and indicate your availability. We will reach out when a volunteer opportunity arises.
Visit the listed establishment in the agreed upon time-window, and let them know you’re a Bronzeville volunteer picking up leftover food donations. They will be expecting a volunteer.
How to deliver the food
Immediately after pickup, visit the designated shelter and let them know you’re a Bronzeville volunteer dropping off approved food items.
Provide them with the food items you picked up, and sign off on them if necessary.
